THE VOID
There's so much now that doesn't fit
That could be exchanged for the unknown new.
So much old clutters up my space,
Taking up room that belongs to the new.
The old clings and stifles, buries me deep,
Demands to hang on, says there won't be a new.
In faith I release all I know I don't need,
Then rest in the void awaiting the new.
