PATIENCE

Today, in the early morning hours, I had a flash of insight about something I’ve never understood before. One factor has driven all the spiritual exploration I’ve done in the past few decades: the desire to fully connect with the highest purpose of my soul. And I realized one element has been missing in all this searching: patience. I cannot force something to happen that requires experience and the passage of time. Attempting to do so inevitably results in unnecessary upheaval and disappointment. All I can do is to keep walking my path with dignity and grace, no matter how far from my destination I seem to be.
