FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT

As we approach the winter solstice, we are mindful of the fact that the ever-darkening days give way to the gradual dawning of light. Consider this translation of the Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (1/3/28): “Lead me from ignorance to truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality.”
