Years ago, I woke up one morning, and in the haze between sleep and the fully awakened state, I believed the dream I’d just had was true. I was excited, as I thought the dream provided an explanation for certain circumstances in my life. It took me a few minutes to realize that this theory was full of holes, and that the dream couldn’t possibly be true. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed.
However, the dream was haunting, compelling, and I carried it around with me for days. Years later, it became the basis for my novel, Blessed Transgression. Currently, I am working on a sequel to Blessed Transgression. With the two books combined, I’ve written over 200,000 words, all inspired by one silly dream.
I will not recount the dream here, as it would give away the plot of Blessed Transgression. Contact me after you’ve read the story, and I’ll tell you the dream.
